Adolph Frederick Rupp is an American college basketball coach. Rupp is ranked seventh in total wins by an NCAA Division I male coach, winning 876 games in 41 years of training at the University of Kentucky. Rupp also ranks second among all male college coaches for all-time win rates, behind only Mark Vai. Rupp entered the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on April 13, 1969. He played college basketball at the University of Kansas under coach Phog Allen.
