MICHAEL Strahan has taunted an A-list guest during a heated, head-to-head go-kart race in Las Vegas.

The Good Morning America host visited Las Vegas to report on the first-ever Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The much-hyped Formula One World Championship race is scheduled to take place at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on Saturday, November 18.

Before Saturday's race, however, Michael, 51, caught up with American-born F1 driver Logan Sargeant, 22, to discuss the sport and the dangers that come with it.

The pair met up in Sin City at Autobahn Indoor Speedway, a high-speed indoor go-karting track.

The Williams Racing driver opened up about starting his career with competitive karting, the physical strain of being an F1 driver, and managing the risk of participating in one of the "most dangerous sports in the world."

When discussing the mentality of a racecar driver, Logan revealed: "I feel like we don't quite process the risk because we've been doing it and it's become so natural to us.

"You just feel at home, you feel comfortable. Maybe a bit too comfortable at times."

After the sit-down portion of the interview was over, Michael tried his hand at karting with a race against Logan.

As he geared up for the race, the morning show host teased: "While Logan has his eye on Vegas, mine is on this go-kart track."

Positioned at the starting line, Logan told Michael: "We're gonna have some fun.

Michael warned: "No, I want you to give me everything you've got. Do not take it easy on me."

"I'm not here for second place and I'm not here for charity."

Once the race began, Michael's trash kicked up a notch as he yelled: "C'mon Logan. Let's go!"

The professional racing driver complimented: "You're killin' it," as Michael took the lead.

From the first position, Michael taunted: "Where you at big boy?" and "Want me to slow down and wait for you?"

Logan exclaimed: "You're whipping my a**!" before Michael crossed the checkered flag in front of him.

Basking in his victory, Michale joked: "That was better than winning the Super Bowl."

PINING TO SPEAK

On Wednesday's show, GMA guest Chris Pine interrupted Michael on live TV as the host was trying to ask him a question.

Michael, Robin Roberts, and George Stephanopoulos interviewed Chris, 43, about his new movie, Wish.

He talked about playing a villain, singing in a movie again, and more.

After showing a clip of Wish, Michael went to ask Chris another question.

The host put his feet up on one of the pegs of the chair and as Michael said: "We asked your co-star, Ariana DeBose on Monday, when she was here to...," before getting cut off by the actor.

"I have those same socks, dude," Chris said, pointing.

George, 62, cracked up as Chris and Michael continued talking about their matching style.

The socks were navy blue with red, white, and blue dots on them.

"You know what? You and I, we're simpatico, buddy," Michael said.

"You and I are together."

Then Michael joked: "I have that same jacket."

This caused the guest and hosts to crack up.

Michael then went on to finish his question from before he was interrupted.

'TEARS OF JOY'

This interruption came on the same day that Michael returned to GMA after nearly three weeks away.

He was absent due to a "personal family matter," making his last day on the show, before Wednesday, October 26.

Michael sat alongside George and Robin, 62, making up the full main desk of co-hosts.

At the beginning of the broadcast, Robin held up a finger and turned to Michael.

"Can I just say we have tears of joy because Michael is back here?" she said.

Michael smiled and said: "It's great to be back with both of you! Thank you guys."

PRICE TO PAY

Michael's other job, The $100,000 Pyramid also returned on Wednesday, after one week off.

And this week was filled with drama.

He was joined by comedians Jason Alexander, 64, and Pete Holmes, 44, as they guest starred on the show.

It was clear early on that Pete took the game very seriously after he admitted he lost sleep the last time he lost a match.

At the end of the first round, Pete and his partner Molly were ready to play the category "Can I Spelunk In Your Man Cave?"

The category was things that could be found in a real cave but should not be found in a man cave.

Michael also reminded Pete and Molly that they needed a perfect score to stay in the game.

Pete quickly and snarkily asked: "Does that help?"

Michael responded with an equally snarky response and said: "Building the drama."

"The tension and the drama."
