Norman L. Eisen is an American lawyer, author and former diplomat. He served as an adviser to the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee on the impeachment of President Donald Trump in 2020. He is also a Senior Fellow in Management Studies at the Brookings Institution. He has served as White House Special Advisor on Ethics and Government Reform, United States Ambassador to the Czech Republic, and Chairman of the Citizens Council on Accountability and Ethics in Washington. He is the author of The Last Palace: Europe's Turbulent Century in Five Lives and One Legendary House.
